ABOUT US

Founded in 1979, the MNOA is a group of vintage Norton Motorcycle owners and enthusiasts based in southeast Michigan. We are the second oldest chapter of the INOA/USNOA, and maintain a Supporting Club Charter with the American Motorcyclist Assoc. (AMA). We conduct monthly meetings, publish an award winning quarterly newsletter (2004 INOA Chapter Newsletter of the Year), host an annual campout, attend various vintage motorcycling events (i.e. AMA Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio; Battle of the Brits, AHRMA Races at Grattan Raceway) and host a annual Holiday Party jointly with the Metro Triumph Riders of Detroit, MI in early December. Ownership of a Norton or any motorcycle is not required to join the MNOA, as we believe in promoting an appreciation of Norton Motorcycles among future owners and motorcycling enthusiasts as well. We have a great wealth of technical knowledge to share, and enjoy riding our Nortons.
